It suddenly got very cold. The snow is beautiful – but still it’s a bit depressing, especially in combination with the new lockdown.
So I am trying to find more colors (as always), to compensate for the bleak view in the window.
Many of my plants have withered, but a few are still flowering.
This is the first bloom of the pink ruellia – small but beautiful.
The several abutilons that I rescued this summer keep flowering one by one. I am still waiting to see the deep purple plant bloom, but I am not sure which one is it. So every time I see new buds, I keep hoping to see this unusual color…
I ordered a new mauve hibiscus plant, but unfortunately when it arrived it was frostbitten. I felt so sad… I hope it recovers somehow, but I really doubt it’s possible.
I got this picture from California last night, and it made me really happy. Our Fantasy Garden apron really fits Marcela’s style. I think it looks so great in the color scheme of her lovely home!
These are the first overalls in our shop – stylish black with embroidered roses.
Size L, excellent vintage condition.
I started a new project – Fantasy waves.
It’s a freestyle patchwork of colorful African print patterns – I think I will use it as a centrepiece for my next boho denim jacket.
Some of my handmade items found a place in the lovely little gift shop, Gorichkata. Nona – the friendly owner, is a fellow jewelry artist, and her styling is really cool.
Meeting the real-life fairy Nona and seeing my colors arranged in her space… Pure delight for me!
